DEIJ Leader Cohort
PROGRAM APPROACH & ELEMENTS
All meetings and workshops will be held on Zoom. We use breakout rooms, full group discussions, and interactive tools to improve the online experience and keep engagement high. The Cohort is limited to 20 participants to allow for individual support and growth.
To achieve the greatest benefit and success, we are asking for participants to fully commit to all the elements including attending every scheduled activity. If any dates do not meet your schedule and you are still interested, please let us know what dates will not work for you on the registration form.

Cohort Workshops Five workshops, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm |
Peer Learning Five sessions, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm |
Here we gather as a Learning Community to develop our capacity to advance DEIJ in our leadership and organizations. We will be discussion-based in our approach and will use breakout groups throughout the session.
One-on-One Coaching Five sessions, 50 minutes each Each participant will be assigned a Leadership Coach, either one of the Capacity Building Partnerships’ faculty or a close associate experienced in DEIJ leadership and organizational development. Time will be spent working through personal dilemmas, thinking together about your leadership, and providing supportive environment where all questions are welcomed and encouraged.
Additional Opportunities Learning Partnerships In addition to the elements and resources above, we will facilitate participant connections and learning partnerships where there is interest. These opportunities will be optional and designed with the participants in mind.

Each participant will be a part of a smaller Peer Learning Group that will meet between workshops to support one another around real-life DEIJ dilemmas and implementation challenges. Our intention is to support application of the concepts and skills discussed in the workshops. These sessions are supported by a faculty member and will be shaped by the interests and experience of the members of the group.
DEIJ Resource Handbook & Online Portal 300+ pages of tools and resources Participants will receive a printed copy and have PDF access to Capacity Building Partnerships’ extensive DEIJ Handbook. This 300+ page resource booklet will support participant learning during the Cohort and beyond. Participants also have access to an online portal where additional resources will be shared.
Closing Reflection | Appreciation One session, three hours Once we have moved through all the elements of the Cohort, we will gather one more time to reflect, appreciate, and look forward.
